Direct-Vent Gas Fireplaces

Direct-vents are the most popular solution in new homes today. These are sealed combustion units (they do not use air from your home to operate) therefore; the fire is always behind a piece of safety glass. The fireplace is vented through the exterior wall of your home and cased in a marble surround with a wood mantel. Vented Gas Logs

Vented gas logs are the most cost-effective way to enjoy the convenience of gas in your existing masonry fireplace. Tired of trekking out to the woodpile, stuffing newspaper in the fire to keep it going and constant relighting? Vented gas logs operate with the click of a button and are virtually maintenance free. Direct-Vent Inserts

Inserts convert your existing wood burning fireplaces to gas. Inserts are also a sealed combustion product; the combustion chamber is placed behind a piece of safety glass. Inserts also vent through a piping system that must be installed inside of your existing chimney. As a result, the investment in an insert is nearly twice that of a vented gas log. The benefit, however, is a very efficient product that can be used as a secondary heat source for your entire house.

Wood Burning Fireplace
